A-Medicare Temporarily Suspends Research in Protest of the Workplace Vaccination Plan

LAS VEGAS, AUGUST 31, 2021 – Sacramento Bee reported a plan to require workers and those entering indoor businesses to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in 2021. A-Medicare respects the long-standing medical patient-doctor privilege protection and disagrees with taking any measures against employees by essentially requiring them to share a part of their medical history.

“As a platform focused on bringing healthcare to everyone and a strong focus on their privacy, we simply could not allow this to happen. We had to speak up,” said a spokesperson for A-Medicare. It shut its doors for the remainder of the day and physician staff members were seen arriving at neighboring hospitals to assist with the shortage in staff.
